About Fraser

Mechanism design for living systems.

Conservation finance, from the inside of the funds and platforms to the edge of a new monetary architecture.

Short bio

Fraser Brown is a conservation-finance specialist and entrepreneur.

I was Director of Global Strategy at WeForest, Senior Advisor Green Finance to the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), and consultant to IUCN and CGIAR’s CCAFS programme. I designed financing mechanisms for the Bonn Challenge and now advocate for verified restoration as a proof-of-benefit class.

Net-Positive Solutions is the name for that work: practical mechanism design, an archive of what was tried, and a current proposal for what could come next.
