This event brought together experts from Care International, World Vision, Vi Life and F3 Life to discuss and compare notes about Village Savings and Loan Associations.
We worked out that approximately 22,500 such groups exist in Rwanda combining over half a million citizens most of whom are farmers, and mostly women.
Field trips and discussions with such groups revealed important insights into the nature of the gaps between VSLAs and mainstream finance.
